Niloofar comes from Iran, also known as Persia. A place of one of the world's oldest civilizations. she is entering to the second-year MA in the French program at CU. She received her BA in French literature studies at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran. She worked on her BA French thesis on comparative Literature, titled "Literary Reception Of Amélie Nothomb In Iran". She is interested in translation and as a result prior to her undergraduate studies she translated and published a novel in Persian in 2018 in Iran, titled " The English Patient". She received a Award for the best artistic member of the Scientific Association in 2017.  Her interest mostly demonstrate Comparative Literature, Gender studies and Contemporary literature.

She loves different languages/Culture due to this, She is a polyglot, beside being Fluent in English and French, she is familiar with Spanish and Arabic language.
 
Niloofar has taught numerous French language courses in traditional in-person, remote, and hybrid modalities and at CU she teach in-person (French 1010, 1020).
 
Niloofar loves plants, a good book and a long hike and a hot cup of coffee!
